ABT Hitting Clinic - April 6th, 2024
It's a special time when Purdue Softball record holder, Ashley Burkhardt, get's to coach in the city of her Alma Mater!
Skills that will be worked on in each clinic include: hitting fundamentals/foundations (balance/timing/strength), a little speed and baserunning work, and also confidence and mental game training!
Session #1: 9am-11am ET
Session #2: 11:30am-1:30pm ET
**3rd - 8th grade athletes only (due to high school softball rules).
Athletes are also encouraged to wear their camp t-shirts at the Purdue Softball game later that afternoon at 2pm!

Ashley is offering 5 full scholarships for the clinic thanks to her friends at The Triple XXX! If you'd like to apply for one of the free clinic spots, please send an email to [email protected] with the title "scholarship" and include a short paragraph as to why you believe this scholarship will help your family. Applications are due by noon on March 22nd and announced that same day.
The hitting clinic will work on:
- Strength, power, balance and connection drills to produce better FEEL
- Building confidence behind our swing through self-talk and journaling practices
- Speed/agility work to help build athleticism
- Building mental toughness through competition
Included with the clinic:
- A tee shirt (encouraged to be worn at the Purdue Softball game that day!)
- A 30min Q&A and Goal-Setting sessions (parents welcome!) the last 30 minutes of each clinic
- Opportunity for pictures/autographs post-clinic!
